Each one pound package contains 3 - 1/3 pound deer patties. Between each deer patty there is a freezer paper so that it is easy to peel one off and freeze the remaining venison. These are lean.
When frying or grilling deer burgers - brown the first side until the juices begins to bubble up on top, turn once. Allow the juices to just begin to come through the browned topside and remove from the pan or grill.
Let rest about 3-5 minutes. This will finish the cooking process without cooking out and drying out the deer burgers.
