Pat the following into the deer steaks before putting in a zip lock bag: These ingredients are best if placed in blender/chopper first:
1 tsp. Salt,
1 tsp dried Oregano
whole Black Pepper (or to taste)
Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, best no longer. Grill on hot coals for approx. 4 min./side. Take off grill, cover and place in a warm place for 8 minutes.
